Oooooooh scary....

The finished version of that scray girl from a few months back, quite like the texture from the pencil sketch showing through in the background of this one.

Issues with colour?

I have no idea why, but when uploaded to Blogger all the colours seems to loose saturation and the contrast is reduced. If anyone knows why and could let me know how to rectify this that would be great, otherwise please visit my website for the more accurate images.

Hello!

New children's illustration, entitled 'Hello!'

It's a bit cute, but I kinda like it

Hide!

Been working on this on and off for a pretty long time now, I think I'm ready to call it finished for now, maybe revisit it again in a few months.

It started off very different, and I'm pretty happy with where it's ended up, although I think I would have preferred the head position to be less straight on.

Was also struggling with how dark to make it, not sure if it's working, please feel free to comment and let me know.

Imaginary friend

Some quick character concepts for a larger scene illustration I'm working on. Tried to push my skin colours a little more than normal here, I think it's helped give it a bit more of a fleshy look.

Hope you like them.

On a side note I learned I have no idea how to paint fur...*adds to to-do list*...

Last one!

Portraits old and new 2

Portraits old and new

Caricature finalized

Pretty much finished with this one, will probably do some minor tweaks nearer submission but I'm pretty happy with it for now.

Another in progress

Another in progress image, a Mystic Gunslinger from the conceptart.org CHOW (character of the week) topic.

It's the Old Bill

Some older illustrations I've neglected to post so far

Kids are scary!

WIP shot of a new image in the works, trying to get a dark scary vibe, but subtle

CHIN!

Caricature sketch from today, about 3 hours worth. It's still looking a bit flat but reasonably happy with it

It's Simon Cowell by the way (hopefully it didn't need to be said!)

Quick sketch up of a zombie, plenty wrong with it anatomically speaking but fun none the less

'The Fat Man' WIP

Work in progress on 'the fat man'. Going for a mob-boss style thing here. I think the hand position may need to be more imposing.

Update part 2

Update part 2. A selection of finished and unfinished works from the past few months

The past few months - Update part 1

Decided it was about time I updated this thing, a selection of finished and in progress works from the last few months... Part 1
